A One Word Name For The Just Third Way?

For many years, there has been a discussion about whether there should be a one-word label for The Just Third Way. It may very well be best to not have one. But it is an interesting subject, and we should not ignore it. Perhaps a single word would help with marketing.

Following the principles of creative brainstorming, a list of all proposed one-word names will be posted here. Criticisms of specific words will come quickly; that is the nature of this kind of thing. But it is most constructive to focus first on just accumulating a list of candidate words. Post any word that pops into your mind in the comments, and it will be added to this alphabetical list. After we have assembled a large list over a period of time, we will be more likely to find a name that we can use. Or decide that we don't want one at all!

Here we go...

Keep them coming!

That's fair.

I like many of these including The Just Third Way but Universal Capitalism especially. At least in my experience it’s been difficult to court Conservatives. We all know the usual cries of Socialism and even Communism as soon as you mention distribution. At least from my vantage point, including the word Capitalism would be helpful as I speak to Conservatives more often than not. I could be wrong but it’s been my experience that Liberals are more accepting as The Just Third Way offers the poor their dignity even if they initially view it as an entitlement which of course it is not. We have a substantial opportunity to build a bridge between the two here and with it spark to start the fire.

Seeing that Norm Kurland has decided to withdraw from this discussion, I will also withdraw. My opinion on the subject remains unchanged. A ‘one word’ will not improve our communication miraculously, but it will help. It is useful to seek the ‘one word’.

There is nothing wrong with keeping this forum open and active. It is best to have the conversation here as opposed to email so only those who choose to participate will see the conversation. Anyone who has already commented will be notified by email when a new comment is posted, but you can stop following this conversation by using the link at the bottom of the page.
If a great word exists, it can't be found if we don't seek it. And of course, part of the discussion is whether we want a single word at all; those opinions are welcome also.

Not to beat a dead horse here but which Founding Father best encapsulated the principles of The Just Third Way via quotes? Was it Mason? “Masonism”, Samuel Adams? “Adamism” or possibly Paine? Paineism…. Just thinking out loud here…..

Don't know, but it's probably the one who could best explain why slavery is wrong.
